Welcome to my profile page. Even though I love writing, I find it difficult to write about myself. As if my profile page were a statement as to who I am.

I can tell you things I have done and things I have found to be personal accomplishments. However that isn't all of who I am. I will try my best to introduce myself.

I went to college for Fine Arts, a returning student for Creative Arts and Therapy. Currently I have taken up photography. One of my photos was chosen The Best of 2010 through the PhotoCenter of the Capital Region in New York.

I was trained as a Sexual Assault Counselor in 2008 and I was a commerical / industrial painter for ten years. I am disabled and an advocate for people becoming educated on this issue.

I have a serious side, an emotional side and a sense of humor too. Everyday is a challenge and I do the best I can but I know I am not alone.

I enjoy creative writing; poetry, music, sculpting, drawing, photography and psychology. I love to laugh, smile and act goofy. I love animals and nature and have a knack for gardening. I enjoy home renovation and decorating. Also, I am eager to learn new things.

Hubpages is a place for me to experiment with my writing. I hope to become better at it and see where it takes me. I was inspired to write as a little girl by an English teacher I had. She told me I should keep writing and that I would become a great writer.

At that tender age, hearing an educated english teacher say that, left a fire in my heart and hope in my soul. I wish I knew where she was today so I could thank her.
